NZFW Runway Report & Gallery: Augustine AW11
A furore of colour delight the senses in an all-out line up of glamour. Augustine in past seasons brought the bling with heavily-beaded pieces. Now, any amount of embroidery details have been relinquished to the shoulders and bordering necklines.

Frou-frou or tutu-like skirts paired with slimming jackets blazed the trail at the start of the show.

Next, shoulders were exaggerated, and a pink dress that tied at the waist was no exception.

Frill work and tweeds followed with asymmetries from the shoulders, leading out to spectacular prints of butterflies on smart shirt dresses.

Light blue and fuchsia were chief in leading a spectrum of colour that sums up the palette of a pricey Monet painting. Well done Kelly of Augustine, this was a great debut at fashion week.
