NZFW Runway Report & Gallery: Sabatini AW11
Sabatini have always been purveyors of fine knitwear that is synonymous with innovation and style. Yet this year, it’s not only about knitwear, it’s about surface enrichment of texture through the use of sequins, cut-out shapes and sheer details that create an air of sensuality.
Rounded necklines were favoured than that of the ‘v’ kind. Sequined knit tops are the exciting alternative to plain cable. A sole vertical line of repeated diamond shapes go up-the-middle of the front, providing a provocative view of flesh, and this cut-out shape was seen on the leggings too.

Fringing details and fur hems reinforce the idea of romantic woman.
Gorgeous gowns finish the show. In particular a sheer-to-opaque sequenced stripe in black, with gold speckling – that cascades outwardly, with gloves to refine the look.
