NZFW Runway Report & Gallery: Adrian Hailwood AW11

Portable pieces that can sustain a diva for day-to-day castings, call for day-wear that requires minimal fuss.  Dresses that hover around the knee in a green-gold, slick pile fabric, feature sleeves that gather and drape like a pulled curtain. Contrast, striped tunic tops pair naturally with thigh decreasing pants in denim.

A green trench functions as a dress and simply needs a tie at the waist. Uncomplicated dresses stood out in multi-coloured circles, bronze stripes or block colours.

Evening garb ran circles with cocktail dresses that bloomed discs in an assortment of sizes and a gold yellow three-quarter length sleeve dress with peplum flounces, hark back to the 40’s influence.
