NZFW Runway Report & Gallery: Turet Knuefermann AW11
This is a designer that I have mentally added to my ‘inventory of designers that I pay an interest in’. Relatively new to my knowledge, Turet Knuefermann had that x-factor that takes my notice with an ‘a la femme’ style that had ‘femme fatale’ themes (in my opinion) strewn in an obvious manner throughout her latest winter collection.
Leatherette textiles were utilised for a sexy ensemble of a well-fitted dress with leggings. Fur-lined and feather jackets add luxury to minimal but not simple tailoring.
Crepe batwings and soft suede cape/coats hybrids (a key look for winter seen in many collections) and mock scarf details, keep you covered up in style. Sensual hip-exposing details on slinky suede dresses and clever drapery on one side of the body are daring but classy.
I quite liked the frilled dress with gold luxe touches in the ultra mini length.
