Designer Direction has been established to empower and support New Zealand fashion designers at any stage of their business, schooling or design career. We also aim to bring the latest fashion and industry news to both local and global fashion connoisseurs. We are what you might call ‘a one stop shop’ for all things relating to the fashion industry.

Designer Direction aims to strengthen the relationships between designers and those affiliated with the fashion design industry so that together we can create a support network to help one another create successful businesses.

Designer Direction has been created by the people, for the people. We cover fashion weeks, shows, events, launches and profile designers and industry folk. We like to give advice to fashion businesses and try to help our fashion educators and students as much as we can.

The Designer Direction extended family includes but is not limited to; jewellers, milliners, footwear & hoisery designers, textile designers, h, makeup artists, PR & event management companies, web designers, graphic artists, modelling agencies, print and online media, related bloggers, production companies, fabric & notion suppliers, pattern drafters, recruitment companies, local and national business networks, government departments, IMFAB, lawyers, real estate agents, accountants, and your mum.
